ECS Job Shadow Program

Engineering Career Services (ECS) is introducing a new Job Shadow Program during Winter Break 2007-08! The Job Shadow Program is an opportunity for freshmen and sophomores to learn about what it means to be an engineer. Students who participate in the program will spend time at a company for one or more days over Winter Break (mid-December through early January) at a time mutually agreed upon with the company.

• SABIC Innovative Plastics
• West Monroe Partners
• Yahoo!

Students interested in the program will be able to apply to job shadow opportunities in late October through Symplicity, the online job system. Students selected for opportunities will be notified in November so that arrangements can be made for the visit over the break. Students will be responsible for any costs associated with travel to the company location and lodging if necessary.
