Engineering Career Services provides comprehensive services and programs to assist College of Engineering students with their full-time or internship career search. Whether you are seeking a career in industry or higher education, or seeking to gain practical experience through a summer or semester internship, or co-op, we can help.
Among the services we provide to students registered with ECS are:
- Access to the online
job system
The online system offers 24-hour access to internship, co-op, and full-time
employment opportunities as well as information on company events and contacts.
You can customize your profile to receive e-mails about activities aligned
with your interests.
- Workshops & seminars
Make sure you are prepared for your job search with workshops on
each step of the recruiting process, from writing a résumé to
evaluating a job offer.
- Résumé & cover letter reviews
Make an appointment with an ECS professional who will sit down with
you to review your résumé or cover letters.
- Personal consultation
Meet with an experienced ECS professional for personal assistance with identifying
job search resources to career planning to job offer evaluation and negotiation.
- Mock interviews
Improve your interviewing skills by participating in a mock interview. The
best way to prepare is to practice.
- Alumni Mentor

Identify and contact an alumus in your field of interest to learn more about
what you can expect, and to begin building a professional network.
